Tulane Facilities

The James W. Wilson, Jr. Center for Intercollegiate Athletics

The Wilson Center for Intercollegiate Athletics, completed in 1990, has been described as one of, if not the, finest athletic buildings in the country.

The Wilson Center houses all athletic offices, the Green Wave's weight room, training room, the Mickey Retif Clubhouse, the Tulane Athletic Hall of Fame Room, a collection of memorabilia in the building's atrium and the Academic Student Services Office and computer lab.

The building covers 76,000 square feet and was completed at a cost of $7.2 million. It is named for former Tulane football player Jim Wilson, Jr., whose generous gift was a major catalyst in the fund-raising drive for completion of the building.

The Hall of Fame Room (above) highlights each Green Wave All-American and is a key part of the Wilson Center, which was completed at a cost of $7.2 million and houses all on-campus football facilities.
The football lockerroom features spacious lockers, as well as a player's lounge with a large-screen television.
The Bubba Porche Training Room is conveniently located on the first floor of the Wilson Center.

Henry Frnka Weight Room
The 5,000 square foot Henry Frnka weight room is exclusively for Tulane student athletes and offers supervised training.
