Damonte Memorial Trophy for her swimming ability, scholarship, leadership and personality after posting seven individual dual-meet wins and helping the relays teams earn five victories...scored 34 individual points at the Conference USA Championship where she posted career-best times in the 200 IM (2:08.25), 400 IM (4:32.31) and 200 back (2:08.13)...won the 200 free, 100 fly and 400 IM in a double-dual sweep of Delta State and Florida A&M (Jan. 17)...named to C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll, Tulane's 3.0 Club and Dean's List. High School: Four-year letterwinner at Vestavia Hills High for coach Rick Grammer...named team's Outstanding Swimmer as a senior after finishing state runner-up in the 200 IM...qualified for the state championships all four years as a prepster, winning the 200 medley relay title and finishing third in the 400 free relay as a freshman, finishing third in the 500 free and third in the 200 IM as a junior, and finishing fifth in the 500 free as a senior...away from the pool, was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Students Against Drunk Driving and the yearbook staff...also a member of the Girl Scouts of America where she earned the Gold and Silver Awards, the highest honor a Girl Scout can earn.
